Australia GTI Visa At first glance, the Global Talent Independent program may have fewer requirements than the 189 Skilled Independent visa, after all, it does not require applicants to obtain a positive Skills Assessment or meet the minimum points threshold. Candidates must be highly skilled in one of the 7 target sectors: 1) Agriculture Technology, 2) Space and Advanced Manufacturing, 3) Financial Technology, 4) Energy and Mining Technology, 5) Medical Technology, 6) Cyber Security and Quantum Information, Advanced Digital, 7) Data Science and ICT In 2020-2021, there are 15,000 places available under the Global Talent Independent program versus 6,500 places assigned to the Skilled Independent. ???
